We have been awarded £9,775 by the National Lottery Awards for All scheme. This sum has been put towards a community support worker. They will offer one to one support to people experiencing mental health issues, helping them to access the services they need and address their issues at an early stage. In addition they will provide a much needed point of contact and a familiar, friendly face as well as general emotional support.

The support worker will work closely with key agencies including the Citizens Advice Bureau, the local Job Centre plus GP surgeries and other local voluntary sector agencies.

If you or anyone you know is in need of support then the new support worker is available to talk to at our Norton centre on a Tuesday 9am – 3pm.
