Have your say ! Be apart of the future mental health services.
Joined up treatment and support in the community – have
Community services are transforming in Humber, Coast and Vale for the benefit of
people with more serious and complex mental health needs – and carers. When
services are not joined up this can have a negative effect on people’s mental health.
£975 million will be made available next Spring to join up services so things change
for the better.
Rethink Mental Illness are talking with service users with complex mental health
needs and carers as well as staff who work with them, to find out what is already
working well and what needs to be better.
What they say will be shared, anonymously, with the NHS, councils and charities –
and provide recommendations for all health and care systems across England.
This is a real opportunity to shape joined up community working so things are better
We need to hear from you! Who are the people in the NHS, council, charities
who make a difference and why – who keeps things afloat and how do they do
this? How is joined up working already happening? What can be built on and
what needs to change?
You would talk on the phone or video call with someone at Rethink Mental Illness. It
would be an informal conversation to hear your thoughts and ideas about how
services can join up more around you where you live. It would take between 30
minutes and an hour.
If you would like to arrange to talk with us please call Samantha Holmes on 07483
