Our allotments are more than just a place to plant seeds — they’re a space where people come together, breathe, chat, learn, and enjoy the simple pleasure of being outdoors. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or have never held a trowel in your life, you’ll find a warm welcome and friendly faces waiting for you.

Here, everyone is included. You can grow your own vegetables, tend a shared bed, or simply sit with a cuppa and enjoy the peace. There’s no pressure and no expectations — just a relaxed, supportive environment where you can take things at your own pace.

Being outside, working with the soil, and spending time with others can lift your mood, ease stress, and help you feel grounded. Many people tell us it’s one of the highlights of their week — a chance to reconnect with nature, build confidence, and be part of a community that genuinely cares.

A small Men in Sheds group is forming nicely down at our ” Down to Earth ” Allotments, fixing and making- come and give it go.
