Land to Plate Initiative

🌱 Land to Plate Initiative
Growing together, learning together, thriving together
Our Land to Plate Initiative is a warm, welcoming space where people of all ages and abilities can come together to grow food, build confidence, and enjoy the simple pleasure of being outdoors. It’s not just about gardening — it’s about connection, wellbeing, and discovering what we can achieve when we support one another.
Whether you’re completely new to growing or already love getting your hands in the soil, you’ll find friendly faces, gentle encouragement, and a place where everyone is valued. From planting seeds to harvesting fresh produce, every step is taken together, side by side.
Being part of Land to Plate offers more than practical skills. It brings people together, lifts spirits, and creates a sense of purpose and belonging. Many participants tell us they feel calmer, more confident, and more connected — not just to nature, but to each other.
If you’re looking for fresh air, friendly company, and a chance to grow — in every sense — our Land to Plate Initiative welcomes you just as you are.
Join us every Tuesday from 9.30am to 3pm for a relaxed, welcoming day of growing, learning, and connecting. Whether you’re popping in for an hour or staying for the whole session, you’ll find friendly faces and a space where everyone is valued.
If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to hear from you.
Give us a call on 01653 690854 or email land@nextstepsryedale.co.uk — there’s always room for more hands, more smiles, and more people who want to be part of something positive.
