Monthly Trips

From March 2012 Next Steps will be starting monthly trips out and about. Following a recent evaluation, this activity was one of the most popular suggestions.
Each month will have a different destination, they will combine with the Green Steps Walking Group and you have a choice of talking a walk with the group or doing some shopping. The walks are led by walk leader Bridget.
The trips will take place on a Friday setting off at 9.45am and returning at 2.30pm. There is minibus transport for each trip, starting from Next Steps, Norton. The cost per trip is £5.00 per person.
Friday 2nd March – Helmsley – look round the Friday market or have a town tour including the castle.
Friday 30th March – Scarborough – have a beach front walk or do some seaside shopping
Friday 27th April – York – visit a museum, look at the shops or walk on the city walls
Friday 25th May – Next Steps Open Day, we shall stay at the Norton drop in centre
Friday 29th June – Castle Howard – walk round the woodlands, sit by the lake or take a look inside the house
Friday 20th July – Dalby Forest – enjoy the woodland peace, sit by the beck or stretch your legs in the beautiful woodland.
Sign up to these trips by calling the office, 01653 609854, emailing Next Steps or put your name down at our drop in centre in Norton.
Also – let us know your ideas for future trips!
