Women Artists of the FIRST & SECOND WORLD WARS
Social change and war in Europe created new subjects, commissions and outlets for women artists. We will look at artists who recorded the Suffrage Movement, women at work and home, and the work of official women war artists through both world wars.
Focusing on the work of , Lucy Kemp-Welch Victoria Monkhouse, Anita Ree, Romaine Brooks, Olive Mudie-Cook and many more you will discover a wealth of talent from the mainly unsung women artists of this period.
